Steven Barron

Project Coordinator & Architectural Renderer

Steve is an architectural designer, renderer, and emerging architect with experience spanning architectural visualization, 3D modeling, digital fabrication, and project coordination. He brings a technically grounded and highly visual approach to design, translating architectural concepts between drawings, digital environments, and physical prototypes. His experience includes rendering and visualization for larger-scale urban architectural installations, as well as hands-on fabrication using CNC machinery, laser cutters, and 3D printing.

As Project Coordinator at GDS-Designs, Steve supports projects through existing-conditions documentation, construction documentation, design development, and client consultation. His experience as a professional renderer and design fabricator at HCL Studio has further strengthened his ability to move seamlessly between digital and physical environments – from developing detailed 3D models and architectural renders to preparing files for CNC machining, laser cutting, and 3D printing. He brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented perspective to each project and enjoys exploring how technology can expand the possibilities of architectural design.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2026, graduating with Departmental Honors, and is currently completing his Master of Architecture, with an expected graduation in Fall 2027. His academic and professional interests include sustainable design, modular systems, structural thinking, architectural visualization, and digital fabrication.
