A Seamless Fusion of Front and Back of House
The architectural and interior design challenge for this project centered on creating a 1,900-square-foot space that felt both expansive and operationally tight. The centerpiece of the program was a fully open back-of-house kitchen, requiring a design that maintained high aesthetic standards without sacrificing industrial-grade functionality.
The design intervention utilized a strategic "Zoned Flow" approach to maximize the footprint:
Customer Journey: A dedicated queuing and ordering aisle leads customers through a visual journey of fresh ingredients, culminating at a streamlined point-of-sale.
Open Kitchen Innovation: A high-efficiency prep and food expo area that remains completely visible to guests, emphasizing transparency and freshness.
Technical Integration: Beyond the aesthetics, the project required meticulous coordination of materials and MEPFP systems to support heavy-duty refrigeration and specialized utility rooms.
Regulatory Precision: Every element, from the restroom configurations to the reflected ceiling plans, was documented to meet rigorous local building codes and health department standards.
The result is a cohesive brand environment where the interior design and architectural bones work in tandem to provide a premium, fast-casual dining experience.
