A Legacy of Craft and Coastal Resilience 

This project required a "from-the-ground-up" approach, integrating complex structural engineering with a highly curated aesthetic vision. The challenge centered on creating a significant residential footprint that maintained a sense of proportion and contextual harmony within its Hingham neighborhood. 

The design intervention utilized a "Site-Responsive" framework to realize the vision:

• Structural Innovation: The project features a robust structural design, utilizing LVL framing and steel reinforcements to support large-span openings that invite natural light and maximize views.

• Topographical Integration: A meticulous site plan ensures the residence sits naturally within the landscape, coordinating complex grading, drainage, and utility systems to support a sustainable and resilient exterior environment.

• Architectural Articulation: The envelope utilizes traditional New England materiality – shingle siding and refined trim profiles – paired with contemporary window configurations to provide a sophisticated, enduring character.

• Technical Rigor: From the foundation drainage details to the reflected ceiling plans, our team provided a comprehensive "Final CD" set, ensuring every element was documented for seamless construction and long-term performance.

The result is a landmark residence where rigorous technical documentation and elevated design work in tandem to provide a sanctuary of modern luxury and architectural integrity.
